theres this like thing at schools now where there must be healthier foods served at the cafeterias and stuff, y'know like more veg and fruit and they've cut down on all the crap like chips, pizza, burgers ect.

Now these women, most are the mothers of the pupils, are taking food orders form the kids through the gates, going down to the nearest fast food place or chippy, gettin the food and cramming it back through the gates to the kids.

so instead of them eating the school's food, theyre eating crap basically.

the mum's say they're doin it cos they dont agree with the food bein served and the children ahve the right to choose.

what are your thoughts on this?
should thye have the right?

i just think it's stupid. i mean, ok if the mothers wanna see their kids become creatures that looks similar too swedish meatballs. but wtf?! i think it's good that the school actually serves healthy food. (i watched jamie oliver when he was in the english schools. OMG! they're so freakin unhealty and serves all kind of crap that looks DISGUSTING) the mothers can feed their kids with pizza and all kinds of stuff when they get home? :O

I think it's complete bullshit what these parents are doin, its completely undermining what the schools trying to do, they can do what they want with their own children, but to do it to other kids when their parents give them money for healthier food from the cafeteria is not fair on both the school and the parents.

According to the women who are doing it, they want the kids to have a choice instead of having to have 'expensive, low-fat crap'. They printed the two menus together in the paper, & the junk food was more expensive than the healthier stuff.

So yeah, its complete bollocks what thoses women are doin.

ARGH!! those women pisses me off sooooo much! Like, I have NEVER gotten french fries(or CHIPS as you call it), hamburgers or chicken mcnuggets or anything McDonalds like served in school, and I quiet like that cos I dont wanna weigh as much as a whale before I´m like 18 hahahah


But fine, if those women want their kids to be obease by the time they are 20 fine by me

I'm an American, but we have a similar situation. Many schools, including mine, have removed soda from the school. Only water and Diet Coke remain. They don't sell anything too fattening in the snack machines either.


For some of the classes at my school, we go to a seperate building called the career center. Now the career center has all of the junk food you could wish for. Even baked foods like cupcakes.

But you're allowed to bring all of the junk food you want at my school. Not sure if the rules at that school say you're not allowed to bring it. The schools are just refusing to sell it.

I think its because of the growing number of obese people, which just isn't America anymore.

Doesn't really bother me though, I rarely drink soda. I love water, and I'm a bit too skinny so losing weight isn't something on my to do list. Schools shouldn't have to sell fattening foods/drinks if they don't want to.

I think the moms should be able to give the kids whatever food they want. They want to let their kids get fat, I say let them.

i happen to be a kid that ate way too much as a small kid and am now overweight (im not grossly overweight, like with a 2 foot double chin and super saggy tits and what not, just fatish) and i wish theyd serve healthier stuff that dosnt taste like crap (we have a salad bar that tastes like monkey testes). but whatever, if those english moms want their kids to be fat fucks, so be it.

theyve had some thing sort of like that happening here in the us too...i think its just funny...people are gonna find ways to eat what they want...and theres really nothing you can do to stop them...if they wanna get fat and die early then whatever its their choice...why should you care??? if you wanna eat the healthy food then great...but id say more people need to stop worrying about what other people are doing and just stay concerned with what theyre doing...cause thats all that should matter to you...ya know what i mean???

you know..serving healthy food to children (or whoever and wherever) is not only because of they dont want the kids to get fat! i also can eat whatever i want and never gain any weight.. but if i do not eat healthy and just eat junk crap then i end up very ill... especially children need to eat well. to grow and not get any chronic problems with their health in the future.
i got scurvy half a year ago because i only ate junk food for a while.. you can loose your teeth when you get scurvy and if then you dont change your eating behaviour quickly. you even start to bleed in your whole mouth out of nothing and when its getting worse and worse you will start to bleed wherever. your lips and skin will also start to rip.

i love healthy food and stuff..but when you live alone then its really hard to cook for yourself.. 1. you forget what you can actually cook 2. you forget how to cook 3. its depressing to eat a real meal alone 4. its not fun to cook alone.

whatever. i hate those mommys for smuggling the junk crap! but if they want their children to fuck up then yes yes, continue.. they will regret it! and the children will hate them when theyre grown up.

They think the kids have the right to choose and I suppose they still do, it's just I thought mothers would have wanted their kids to eat healthy and grow up not looking like a ball of lard, so in my opinion that just seems stupid and irresponsible, but hey, they aren't my kids, I dont care. I think they're introducing healthier stuff in our school canteen next year, should be good. We have salads but they are $3! It's such a rip off...

i think its totally stupid and ridiculous to claim that a kid has the right to choose!
for example a kid that is between 5 and 9 has no idea about what is good for him/her or not.
it is like a mom filling up a kid with sweets only because the kid says so.. hello, have the parents to strength these days anymore!?

i have just seen an weird example infront of my eyes some days ago. i sat in the tube and infront of me a about 25 year old girl with her boyfriend and a circa 4-6 year old girl between them.
her fucking mother was just bitching with her daughter and telling her she should not speek, should not move and should make no sound.
everytime when the kid wanted to know something like "what is this? what is that?" etc the mom got pissed and screamed at her.
the father (i expect he was) didnt do anything!
she was only talking with him and paying no attention to her daughter.
the little girl had a gorilla to cuddle in her backpack that she had on her lap. the gorilla was so big that it was looking out at her and she just started smiling and laughing and it was so cute. then she just wanted to pull the gorilla out to cuddle... when the mother saw that she started screaming again, slapping the hands of the girl and of course the kid started crying bitterly. that made me so sad.
i then started saying what the hell is wrong with her (the mother), that it is of course not my kid but that it is nearly child abuse what she is doing..and that exactly then outside/people have the right to say something to protect the kid. believe me, she felt so fucking embarrassed because of the tube was full of people and alot heard what i said and saw when she did. she was not replying but at least she noticed that i am right.
the kid was still crying and cuddling the gorilla (man...i so would have liked to go over, hold her tight and take her with me away from that stupid welfare-receiving "mother")..
the mother then gave the kid a box full of sweets..and of course the kid ate and ate and ate...... it stopped crying and the mother had now her "spare-time" with the guy she likes to fuck (sorry..haha). i would only allow one or two pieces.. but the kid nearly ate over half of the box! because there was no mom to say stop.. i after the while said to the mom if she would like that the kid throws up later..and if she doesnt think that it is too much for a kid with such a tiny tummy to eat over half a box of sweets and if she could eat so much herself. of course she didnt reply, was just embarrassed, were closing the box and trying to be very nice and slimey to the kid. of course the kid was confused. and this guy (father?) didnt do anything!!

i think thats the thing... to comfort a kid you have to give warmth and love..and not sweets and chocolate.. and if giving a kid sweets and choc then the parents have to say stop. kids have no feeling for when its enough.. they have to learn later from their experiences when they are able to understand.

okey..long message.. but thought this story fits totally.

technically they are killing their children. and thats totaly ok, AT HOME. and why should we care that they all get fat well when they eventually get heart attacks and so on then there will be a big bill to pay. in sweden healh care is included in the taxes.
