someone on here mentioned the black lips were good so i cased them out--i'm going to the byop show thursday and could totally have dragged in late like a jackass and missed them, so have to say thank you to whomever that was--
black lips are fantastic--love their songs and am certainly not going to the show just to see cole alexander pee in his mouth. the playing guitar with the bloody penis, maybe. but the golden showers--no draw at all.

so glad i got to see your guys! byop is a bad tour match for them, so i don't think our crowd earned us a superconnected show. they played a lot of let it bloom (i love their previous stuff). on 'not a problem' the drummer did that frank black maelstrom roar like on 'tame' <3. when they started in with the soul kissing, the crowd was 'yeah, i've had it in the ear before.' file under 'unclear on the concept.' also killing the romance was a bouncer who overhand-tossed the singer from demon's claws (unfortunate name) off the stage onto his french head during the lips' set. time for a liability clinic. so he was running around making things beirut with a fire extinguisher, which was a nice touch, but the venue sent homicidal bouncers pouring out of the walls. XD...where's the honor in that--nobody needs a bloody lip. people can't talk, all that's left is fighting and fucking. wtf w/the kill fest.

byop wasn't so bad. thresher's flail was enough for me--such good lyrics. i wonder what finicky eaters like you would have thought of the show. jesus, this post is a rambler...

totally unrelated but coming up because lukas haas is on tv in some my chemical romance video. did you see that movie he was in last year 'brick'? i love that movie. the whole cast, the dialogue especially unbelievable. really such a slick film--kind of an ass-salad story-wrap at the end, but overall, great.

why did he have to do a video with these guys... hi, we're my chemical romance, and our next song is called 'i'm not okay (i promise)'... what. a. song title. do they think foundation and powder makes you bulletproof?
