Nov 17th 12.11 / In a bizarre outburst to Q Magazine, Jon Bon Jovi had this keen insight to share with the world: "Most of the fashionable bands don't sell records and I don't necessarily care for them. I listened to some of the latest darlings and they blow. Who's the one who thinks he's Mick Jagger and James Brown? Pelle from The Hives? He can suck my dick! Fuck that fucking bullshit fake, become your own person and get the fuck out until you do." However, just last year in an interview with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that demonstrates the strength of his convictions, Bon Jovi had this to say about The hated Hives: "The Hives are good. There are always good bands coming from Sweden. Right now I'm listening a lot to The Hives, they are very good. They represent a brand new scene along with The Strokes and all those bands, that's cool garage rock." One has to wonder about the chemical balance in the brain of Bon Jovi...///////

Hmm, haven't Pelle said that he is this generations sex symbol, like Bon Jovi was in the eighties or something? I remember it because it was so strange that Pelle would think that Bon Jovi was a sex symbol.
But it could have been someone else than Bon Jovi and maybe it wasn't sex symbol, maybe it was the best band around or something...

this bastard is jealous.. that he doesnt look that good anymore, that he became a old ridiculous cunt, that his music nobody wants to hear anymore... his generation is gone..and the new generation wont even look at them.. i think thats his problem. haha.

Bon Jovi obviously hasnt ever seen Pelle live. i mean pelle does have his own style and I don't think Pelle's stage moves are so similar to those of mick and james. i guess pelle just said that once, because there's not really a better way to describe it. bon jovi probably just read it in a magazine once not caring about what pelle really does, but just so that he can moan about younger bands. and has anyone ever seen Mick jagger or james brown getting hold of a fan's head/hand to be able to climb up onto a bannister/fence during a concert.

pelle absolutely pulls from mick jagger and james brown and others as well (roger daltrey mic twirling?)
his talent comes in his ability to keep his own unique personality relevant to these on stage antics. lots of great performers borrow from others, so don't feel like you have to say that pelle "has his own style" because he really doesn't. he's still more talented than bon jovi though.

yeah I've read that somewhere before and I think Nick answered that sunovabitch in a swedish paper or smthg. told him he felt threatened by them and that he just wanted publicity. this is not the first time somthing like this happend, take oasis for an example.
