Do you really think that if somebody, with access to all of their albumtracks but not the B-sides, got the chance to hear Genepool Convulsions he/she'd suddenly become a Hives-fan?
I don't see the logic in this. Genepool Convulsions is not THAT special that, if it were to be a single, it would get played anymore on radio/TV than any other Hives-single. Therefor it would not reach out to any brouder (? spell check, please) audiences than previous Hives-singles have. I think, if anything, it's the new songs that seperate themselves from the "label" that Hives-songs have.
