just saw the hives play an amazing set but i wasn't there, alas i saw it on the comp but hey hives are hives. anyway it was amazing espec when nic put his guitar down his jacket lol. i'll write more tomorrow but i'm tired now. i missed the first song which i'm guessing was abra cadava as it usually is but secong was main offender.

the best off all was when they finnished and they walked off to tina turners simply the best whilst waving to the crowd, classic hives moment. anyway post more tomorrow

it was so AMAZING!
and pelle looked me straight in my eyes and smiled! OOOH!
i screamed and jumped so much that i was about to faint a couple of times.

 OH MY GOD

THE HIVES WHERE AWESOME! i was in the very front. i actually touched him when he jumped down from stage and headed for the crowd. he was like all "oh people, here i am. your man" - ish. and i could actually feel what a nice fabric their suit's made off. moahahw. and yes .. eye-contact hallelujah! he stared at the front row att people very much, and there's this one thing where he stared, you know with his eyes ALL BIG, and i did the same thing (just for fun) and we stayed like that for a long time. and after he had done that he picked up a rose and threw at me, but the rose fell on the ground, i tried to reach it but it was exactly as far away as it possibly could be to tick me off. then one of the guards picked it up and stood there kinda teasing. then gave it to the girl next to me .. i was so pis.sed. BUT! then they played B is for Brutus and i was happy enjoying the wonder of hives!

btw, pelle read us a letter. (hultsfred has a big part in their career, and history) about how happy he was to be back at festival he started at a few years ago.

pelle quote (he made a lot of them, just don't remember them all, and it's in swedish so i'll try to translate):
"and about young suicides, don't give a sh.it about what all those gothrockes try to squeeze (?) in to you".

and he also told us that for tonight, we where all a part of "hives". we where a band with 31.000 members, and when they walked out (the first time) everybody started to shout "one more time! one more time! one more time!" and then pelle came out again and said "one more time? is that a new song our band has written? let me hear it!" .. then they played 2-3 more songs and walked out to "simply the best" with "tina turner" while white baloons we're realeased into the sky.

he also grabbed the camera that where filming the whole show to the big screens and said "kan ni se mig nu?!" .. ("can you see me now?!) .. and did that several times. all the other artists didn't even notice the cameras. btw, marylin manson, nine inch nails, slipknot & snoop dogg and other also played at hultsfred.

i'm sorry for yapping, but i'm just so happy! :D:D my first hives - concert and i get to grab pelle and (almost) get a rose.

PS. ABOUT the whole "where can i see this"-thingy. i've just read that pelle said that he where filming the whole thing for their upcoming live-concerts-dvd-thing.

BYEBYE, i just had to get it all out of my system. i'm really tired after 3 days of partying in tents and trailers, moahahw. besides, when you look at the dvd you'll notice that he says "howlin' pelle almqvist" in the RIGHT pronounciation, like the "ele" in elephant.

Omg!!
you guys are soo lucky! ive seen them once aswell but not in sweden (im swedish)... that means that they werent speaking swedish (obviosuly) but i would love to go to a concert when they speak swedish and you really get to "feel" it...
dont you guys have any pictures or stuff you wanna share?!:P

YEAH!
I took some pictures in hultsfred but I haven't seen them yet...because I didn't bring my digital kamera...and now I've got the flu...so I hope that someone can hand them in for me soon...

It was the second time I've saw them...my first time was in Fagersta 2002...it wasn't many people loveing them in the crowd there so this was much much better!

I was there too
In the front row, where everyone else also seemed to stand. My ribs still hurt. I've been to lots of concerts and have stood in the front a few times, but my god, I have never experienced anything like this one. It was sick. But great. Soooo great. Genepool Convulsions was great, love that song.

Third hives concert - check!
Wonder when the next one will be.

Me and my friends were a bit late, "what a hell, Ive allready seen them 4 times" I tought.. as soon as they started to play I freaked out and droped my shoes in the crowd, But that didn't stopped me, My friends told me to go back but I just couldn't ! well 31.000 people jumped on my feets that night..aotch !
Didnt find my shoes thoug... Well Well who needs shoes anyway?
