i kept hearing about how great they were, so i bought one of their albums... 'bring em' in' and it is really good. i am currently listening to "Motown Blood" .... pretty good, ya krazy swedes!

Yay...
for Sweden! I heard them on some music tv station last year and purchased the CD and now I'm hearing more this year. I read that they sound like the Hives (in Rolling Stone this year), but I must disagree...I think they're Sweden's answer to the Libertines, with a few different licks. Oh, and in reply to The Rolling Stone article...Pelle can sing more than two notes! How can they even write that? Shame on them!

I HAVE FINISHED THE ALBUM!!!
and i have concluded that "Motown Blood" is my favorite! BUT!!!!!!! mando diao still comes NOWHERE NEAR the hives! mando diao is still quite good though.

omg i love mando diao!! i bought hurricane bar and it kicks arse!! my faves on there are cut the rope,down in the past,you cant steal my love,ringing bells,white wall,and kingdom and glory!! Im gonna buy bring em in as soon as possible!

of course the hives are still better though!

I don't think they sound like The Hives. They have some Beatles and Motown influences and the Hives are punkier. I like the album Hurricane Bar and the song "Down in the Past" is a favorite of mine.

Plus, there are some good looking guys in the band. that's always a nice bonus..
