nick plays fender telecasters and his white one is custom made. vig uses gretsch guitars including a white falcon and i'm possitive dr matt uses precision basses but not too sure. in the early days vig used to play gibson les pauls (which i have).

i think its the effects they use that gives it a dry tone but telecasters are very treble and used in country music alot but they are really good. i hope to get one aswell.

Yeah, mostly they use Fender telecasters. Myself, I play an Aria STG, and it has good varying sounds, and I can make it sound like the Hives's guitars!

JennyD2005 registered: 1/29/2005 00:00 posts: 84	... well ive been playing for a few years but the the thing to do is start slow then build up. practice till you get it perfect then worry about the speed and when you can do that put on ur best nicholaus face and play away. how cheesey does that sound. but its true. but when u do get it if u make a mistake don't worry just keep playing.
