I have had the privilege of seeing them live and oh my god, did they rock. they are a million times better live than on record. |

| i dance electric registered: 2/8/2005 00:00 posts: 86 | ...... hmm.... firstly, i have seen em live and yeah they were great, really intense and pumping, it was a couple of years ago now... i really dont like anything i have heard off the new album, blue orchid i think is unoriginal and predictable, the cool thing about the white stripes was there rawness and now yeah i dont like it much, but i know you have to evolve and change ect.. i just wont be buying th new album...bring back the days of white blood cells i say... i didnt mine the video tho, i think its pretty good, TWS always have pretty good videos tho, hardest button to button is great and is it fell in love with a girl thats the lego one? hmm, i love michel gondrys work. about his look, i dont really know, i think he looks good in the video but yeah, he looked good before too. cheers |

As for the new album, I can't say cos I've only heard Blue Orchid. I want to hear the rest then I will decide. But I loved White Blood Cells and Elephant. Have you heard of The Kills? Some ppl compare them to the White Stripes. I do see some similaries but I think their sound is a little different from the White Stripes. |
