I understand what this guy means, although I can't explain it. Although I don't actually agree.

This is the second instance that a someone's covered a song that I already like and I prefer the cover (The first was Nirvana's The Man Who Sold The World).

I guess it's just because I prefer Pelle's voice.

By the way, to whoever said the Hives should become a cover band, no! Their original songs are just as good.

i like the

hives version better because it's a little faster, and i tend to like faster music.

a month ago we had an assembly and they played the original, and i had just been listening to the hives cover and was so used to THAT version, when they played the AC/DC i was like "why is it going to sloooww!?!?!?!"

hehe, but ac/dc's original still rocks the house.

edit: just listened to both and i'd also like to say that I prefer Pelle's voice. But it was kind of an aquired taste.

When i first heard it was like "Oh my God my Hives, this is a terrible rendition. He sounds like puberty child", but it kind of grew on me, and now i quite like it a LOT. A LOT A LOT A LOT.

but it's weird listening to them back to back
