What is it?
Who do you think is the best band to come out of your country in recent years?

Since I come from Wales I would say:
The Supper Furry Animals cause they make great sounding music which is a bit different from the norm and they're a good live band too.

in my opinion there ain't many good british bands. hmmm, i'm struggling. my brothers band episonic are pretty good. and another band i know called palookaville, they're good.

i was wondering what the hellacopters were like, they are from sweden too i think. quite a few bands are from sweden. the cardigans, wannadies (i think!) sahara hotnights, and lets not forget abba and ace of base - two blonde hair-brown hair quartets making classic pop music!

The libertines, baby shambles, bloc party, the futureheads, the beatles, rolling stones, reuben, maximo park, kaiser chiefs, the subways, hundred reasons, hell is for heros, sex pistols, the clash, muse, razorlight, Tom Vek, kasabian, and many many more prob...woooo go England!!

apart from the fact that the kaiser chiefs, libertines, babyshambles etc are all rubbish and represent a really bad time in british music right now! that kaiser chiefs song, what is it "predict a riot" oh my god that song is so annoying! my sister keeps playing it. it drives me up the wall. "riot, i predict a riot!" they'd probably start crying if they got caught up in an actual riot

billy talent,sum41, or alexisonfire... but out of those i'd say billy talent is my favorite,followed by sum41

hey speaking of sum41 im seeing them this monday :) ah well,not like anyone cares...nobody here likes sum41 except me...at least not that i know of.

there are better canadian bands, least in my opinion:
-tragically hip
-54-40
-guess who
-barenaked ladies
-metric
-hot hot heat
-the arcade fire
-arrogant worms

cool that you're Swedish.. but im not ;) im from the netherlands! and i thinkthat our best band is 'Kane' they recently released a single in foreign countries so i guess there are some people who know them? 'rain down on me' is the just released single.. download it! it's great...and besides Kane we have a band called Golden Earring ( they're like 50 but whatver ;) ) you should listen to 'radar love'
