 | ... I am a horror movie fanatic! Favorites include:
-"Nosferatu" (silent 1922 version) -"Psycho" (original 1960 version) -"Night of the Living Dead" (original b&w) -"House of 1000 Corpses" -"The Exorcist" -"Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (both original and new versions---I think the new version was done quite well) -"It" -"Pet Sematary" -"Children of the Corn" -"Amityville Horror" (I'm very interested to see what they do with the remake...I'll be in the center of the theatre in my critical mood with a pen and notebook, I'm sure) -"American Gothic" (great cheesy B-movie) -"The House on Haunted Hill" (original and new version--again a remake that had the chance to suck, but didn't) -also any of the Halloween movies...I love Michael Myers. | | posted: 4/4/2005 23:31 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | i found the first time i watched the exosist i found it a bit freaky, but i think its funny know. "It" was just plain stupid! it was pretty funny though "Children of the Corn".... hmm it was alright i guess, not scary in these days, but i guess it would have been in its context.
but i must say the 60s 'Psycho" was scary. i hate the very end part, where the shot of his face fades into a shot of the car. i actually did have dreams and thoughts of that bit... bit odd. But after "Birds", and i few insidents with some magpies, i actually have a constant fear of any flying animal!!! Hitchcock! that man's a genious!! | | posted: 4/5/2005 05:05 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |
