The Hives!!!!!!!!!! The Hives are the best live act around, they manage them selves, Nicholaus Arson plays a sustainless guitar and thinks that any guitarist who plays with sustain is lazy, Chris Dangerous the drummer of The Hives, in their older stuff like pre- Veni Vidi Vicious and Pre-Barely Legal, he really incorporated alot of genres into his mix, like punk with jazz, i think that if anyone can pull that off it is pretty impressive, Howlin Pelle Almqvist is quickly moving his way up the Greatest front man ever list (Spin Magazine), Vigilante Carlstroem and Dr. Matt Destruction remind guitars and bass guitars why they exsit!!!!!!!!!! notice i didnt mention their looks, cuz im not a stupid little girl like that, they are a really great band, and i think that any one who mentions looks just sets a bad example, not all Hives fans like the band for their looks!!!!!!!!!!

HeatherlovesTheHives registered: 2/8/2005 00:00 posts: 868	also i just noticed that Barely Legal was released on my birthday!!!!! hey guess what i just got my friend (a nonhivesfreak as she puts it) to say that she is going with me to the Hives concert, i told her that we just have to wait for them to announce the tour first and then we are camping out at Fred Myer for tickets, cuz that is the closest ticket master location!!!!!!!!!!

heather i agree!!!!!!! it annoys the hell outta me when all people can talk about is "ohh pelle is so hawt" or "omg nicholaus is so sexy"!!i mean,its okay to think that of course and its not a bad thing to say that every once in a while but its pretty damn sad when thats all people like them for ya know? the hives are my absolute favorite band in the world and they always will be!!!!!whenever im upset about something(for example when people at school make fun of me)then i listen to the hives and that pretty much cheers me up,and sometimes i'll bring my cd walkman to school and listen to them and when people make fun of me,i dont get upset because i have the hives with me!! they really help me out a lot...im not the most popular person at school and i get my feelings hurt a lot by people there so to be honest,if the hives werent around then i think i would be considering suicide. say whatcha want guys,but thats the full truth!

ok here are my reasons for loving the Hives... First of all, their music is just plain amazing. Unlike a lot of my favorite bands they have yet to make a song that I don't like or really appreciate as good music (I'm not going to knock on wood because I know it will never happen!!). I love how they know that they make amazing music! It makes them so unique. Yeah I guess I don't want to bore you all about why I love them. But one more thing. I also love that I can listen to them ALL the time and never have to worry if my parents will get offended or if my little cousins will hear something they shouldn't (I mean the few times they do swear you can barely understand it.) All right well that's why I love the Hives! I think it'll be fun to read all these if more people respond.
