Confirming recent speculation that something was amiss in the Blink-182 camp, the band today announced it was going on an indefinite hiatus "to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with loved ones." In a statement, the trio added, "While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring."

Rumors that the band had split began circulating after Friday's all-star tsunami benefit concert in Anaheim, Calif. Blink was scheduled to play but pulled out of at the last minute due to "unexpected circumstances."

I'm laughing too! I'm sorry but they WERE good, not no more...it's not a shock to me and for you fans sorry...I know what it's like to love a band and then have them break up, but I was at the benefit show and instead of being little bitches* they should have played the show seeing as it was for a good cause and then bowed out gracefully giving the people who paid 150 to see them ( I mean all the little girls who showed up sporting I love Mark shirts) a last great show but noooooo that tells you how much they love their fans

im so suprised!! i was so excited too..because they were supposed to play here in Atlanta sometime in april or may with cypress hill and taking back sunday!! i was so excited to see them all together and i have never seen blink live either..so i hope that they are on a break and come back!!!

I kinda liked their music it is what started me liking punk and then i got into better stuff, but that completely sux!!!! I was especially attatched to Adam's song it got me through some really tough times. But it is not like this was unexpected, i mean was Box Car Racer not a clue that they were getting bored of what they were doing?

hey look if you dont like them dont post it here some people really really like them for me they where the first ever band tht meant sum thing really special to me so if you dont like them fuck* off this is as bad as the hives spliting up for me....and they didnt suck they wrote really great songs if u listen to the albums and travis is the reason i play drums and a role model to me so dont come around here sayin they suck i wouldnt do it if ur fav band split up....

The first album i went out and bought was "Take off you pants and jacket" My first concert was a Blink182 one, they were on my first band tshirt. They were what introduced me to the rock scene. Who knows where i'd be without their influence. They have some brilliant songs....and they meant alot to me, i have to say.

I'm so sad right now...Travis made me want to play the drums, and that was when I was in grade 4. Chris and Travis have influenced me, and NOW I am going to be drumming 5 years later. I wanted to start because of them. And I loved all their songs, so much!!
