listen up
After a google marathon of reading Hives interviews I found that they were really into this band, Reigning Sound. I checked em out and they are really very good! They're album Too Much Guitar is pretty awesome. They have alot in common with the hives sound, except with more organ and tambourine, and a little less "robot-y". If you havent checked em out, make yr way to iTunes store or DL site of your choice and do it now!

 they are awesome!
i saw them twice when they opened for the hives at the henry fonda on august 2nd and 3rd. the singer looks cool when he plays, like he is having a seizer, its very amusing. and i think the drummer was riding on the train on the second night we saw them. me and my friends were on the train talking about how great the show the night before was and we were saying how we liked reighing sound and stuff like that. we all noticed a little man with a bike listening to our conversation and smiling a lot at certain comments but no one said anything until we got off the train. that guy looked exactly like the drummer but we didnt want to go up to him and look stupid in fears that it wasnt him. he got off at the same stop we did, a block away from the henry fonda. when we saw him get on the escalator we decided to go on the stairs so we could beat him to the top and see where he was gonna go but then somehow, even though we were at the top before he was, we lost him and we were never able to find out if he really was the drummer. its still a nice story to tell though.
