 | Yuh-huh.. It is silent. To prove my point, take a look on the Personals page where Pelle writes a little rhyme about himself:
"Oh well what the hell,
Howlin Pelle just cant tell."

 | hmmm...how odd.. When Pelle introed himself to me, he pronounced it with a stressed "e" at the end. I suppose even he doesn't know how to pronounce his own name. | | posted: 2/2/2005 17:03 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | ok you guys its a Swedish name, and a very Swedish name, i know several Pelles and its 'Pellay', the 'e' at the end of his name is said.
Pell is completly wrong in Swedish, when its spelled Pelle
Per = Pelle Karl = Kalle Jan = Janne Lars = Lasse
all the e's are said | | posted: 2/2/2005 18:07 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | No. No. No It`s pronounced Pelle, where the -e at the end is said just like the first -e. Kind of like the french -e`s in the end of a word, Pellè, exept the -e (at the end of course) isn`t that "long". Example: the -e is pronounced like the -e in the name "Lenny". You can try to say just Pel first and then say it backwards without the "P", and there you go. maybe.. (:

 | LISTEN UP! Hello. I'm Swedish. And pandaland seems to be too. I believe we are the ones who really know how to pronounce Pelle. Listen to the girl damnit!
'Pe' in Pelle is pronounced as pandaland explained it. Like 'Pe' in the english word 'Pet'.
And the remaining part 'lle' is pronounced like 'Le' in the english word 'Left'
So. Pelle. That's it. Thanks for listening. | | posted: 2/3/2005 09:24 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | oh lord.
every english/american-talking guy/girl in here that believe they have the answer about pronouncing "pelle". LISTEN TO THE SWEEEEEDS GOD DAMNIT! ..
you say it like "17 minutes" up there explained. A SWEDISH PERSON THAT LIVES IN THE SAME COUNTRY AS PELLE AND THE REST OF THE BAND DOES AND SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE!. Pell-e (don't say it like: pelliiiiii .. pell-ey, with the same "E" as in "pell", the start of his name).
Besides, "pelle" isn't even his birth name. it's "per" (you say it like the "pe" in "pet" and just end it with a simple "R"). but "pelle" is a nickname that you can use as well.
I don't expect any of you to get what I just said, but read it slowly several times (haha) and maybe you will understand, if you don' .. too bad. ___________
but it's kinda cute when some of you say "pell-i". hahaha, that makes me and all my swedish friends laugh.
moa-ha-ha.
