It seems to be cluttered with a bunch of topics that are not even related to The Hives. It must be really overwhelming on the site's server to host so many topics.

So I propose this: to seperate the board into different categories. This would cut down on the gibberish talk, and focus more on what's relevant to the band itself.

For example-- have a section labled: GENERAL(discuss The Hives news, music, lyrics, etc), LIVE (show dates, tv appearances), PRESS (interviews, articles, reviews of the band), PHOTOS (press release, live, magazines), TICKETS (buy, sell, trade), and then another one labled OTHER MUSIC (where you can discuss other bands you're interested in, and other upcoming shows, etc.)

I think this would be an idea to consider for the webmaster of this site, because it would get the board members to focus on The Hives, rather than if someone is bored or not.

If you're looking to have conversations with people not having to do with the band itself, isn't that the purpose of the PM feature?

(now everyone will hate me, because I have spoken the truth).....

LoAndBeholden registered: 10/25/2004 00:00 posts: 262	my opinion I agree that the board needs to be a bit more organized. However, in regards to several sections, I think that "Hives Related" "Not Hives Related" and "Media" (for pictures, interviews, whatnot) would suffice.

I HAVE A SUGGESTION!!!

Is it ok of we moved to a DIFFERENT board then? Theres this really cool place called Ezboards.com. (remembers the "good 'ol days" on Ezboard.)

To those unfamiliar with EZBOARD:
It's like a public place where you sign up and you can create your own message board. it's not very difficult, and i believe you can use "signatures" (small pictures and such that appear right after your post.) it's really fun. i used to have one, but it kinda died cuz i knew no one to invite.

and you can have different topic places called "Forums." so these would solve our probs. but that doesn't mean we have to give up THIS board.

like i said: its just a suggestion.
