To throw or not to throw?
I just joined the forum, so I am seriously sorry if I screwed up in trying to post this.

I must first off say that this thing is awesome, and you all are awesome.

Okay here's the thing.....

Needless to say, both House of Blues shows were incredable! So come the 2nd show, I was right up against the speaker by NIcholaus.

That women that you keep hearing about, the one yelling "I want to have your babies" and a bunch of other stuff, was right in my ear. SHe finally left to get even more drunk, and left this cup of ice right in front of me. Well remember in the first show, when Howlin' pelle split his lip open and took that piece of ice and said, "We're so hot, ice is melting off us!" I thought he ment hot, like burning hot good rockn' out. So, remembering this, and seeing how awesome this 2nd show was going, I threw a piece of ice at Pelle and Nicholaus to cool them off. I hit pelle in the face, and he came over and grabbed my hand. I go to throw a piece of ice at Dr.Matt, and the people behind me yell at me, "Why are you throwing ice at them? It makes them fall. Stop beging stupid. It's just stupid."

This was my birthday, and this made me feel like total crap.At the begining of the show someone threw a full cup of ice at them at the begining of the show, and they were fine. So I figured it was okay. Plus it was my way of appretiation.

I guess my big question is, should you throw things to show your love of the awesome performence or does it just make it harder for them to give an awesome show?

in a good way. But yeh i mean if u throw throw it at their feet or somthing but his face migth b a little painful. But im sure tehy knew it was all for love :)

everyone makes mistakes and like someone said,the hives would most likely understand i mean its not like theyre franks or anything so cheer up! you got to see the hives! thats awesome!! just remember to keep rockin in the free world and doot do da loot do.....

it was a mistake,and we're trying to cheer hivesolicious up,so if your going to say something please be nice about it because hivesolicious is only going to feel worse if you rub it in.

If you threw it out of affection/excitment, then thats fine. I'm sure they knew that you meant well=)It was a honest mistake. I'm sure they knew that.

wilfreds are the security guys who supervise hives concerts but when theyre not supervising hives concerts they work at wendys and they like to eat pickles,shrimp and mashed patatoes ^.^

Thank you so much you guys! I feel a whole lot better. To make up for hitting him in the face, I tried to hand Pelle a lollipop, but he wouldn't take it. Goodness, I am dorky.

throwing stuff isn't cool. I was seeing less than jake at a festival aawhile back and someone threw ice or a bottle (no glass bottles, plastic) or something and it hit the singer and they stopped playing and were nearly ready to get into a fight or stop playing the entire set. Don't throw anything, you might ruin the show for everyone, or hurt the band or something.
On another note throwing stuffed animals or presents n stuff is cool though.
