Fitzsimmons doesn't exist and is really just Nic, and that Nic doesn't exist and is really just Pelle! What the heck?!?! The first one might be true, but whats the last one about? Also, post up other rumors you've heard. |

As for the Randy Fitzsimmons thing, I've heard both that he does exist and that he is a friend of theirs from Sweden and also that he doesn't exist and that Nic writes the songs as he gets the most royalties (supposedly). |

It said "Randy Fitzsimmons... allegedly put the group together in 1993 (when Almqvist was all of 14). Some say Fitzsimmons is really a pseudonym (fake name) for Nicholaus Arson, which itself is a pseudonym for Almqvist; The Hives say he lives." Can anyone explain this?!?!?! |

The whole concept of them all receiving letters with little more than a place and a time in their early teenage years would be absolutly remarkable if it were true.Personally, I believe there is no randy fitzimmons. The story is a little ridiculous, but I must admit it is intriging. I think what we are all doing now is entirely the hives scheme and purpose for creating Randy Fitzimmons.It is entirly possible for it to be any member of the hives, considering they are all brilliant in their own right. I have heard the nicholaus theory quite a few times, and I believe that is the most logical one. But for all we know it could be Dr. matt destruction, the most low-key member of the group. Hopefully, someday we will all finally know the truth. |

They're all mysterious characters with fake bios and personas. They got the animator for Tank Girl to draw them all and have the most amazing band website I have seen in my lifetime: www.gorillaz.com |
