The characters.. characteristics.. are PERFECT for a man like Tim Burton! Johnny Depp does look quite different, and a little insane... but thats who willy wonka is!
I think this is a perfect story for Tim Burton to do a movie remake to!

went to see A Series of Unfortunate Events and the first preview was for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... you should've heard us.. we were too excited to see Johnny on there.. heee I soo can't wait!!

Well I'm nervous....
...because Tim Burton doesn't really have a great trac record as far as re-making movies goes. Did anyone see his remake of Planet of the Apes? Ouch. However I do love Johny Depp, so i'll stay somewhat optimistic.

hehe i heard about this like a year ago...they're meant to have filmed some of the film at the nestle chocolate factory down the road from where i live doubt they actually did though in the end...can you really imagine johny depp coming to york of all places?!?
