not that its bad...b/c its definatley not...but why does everone want "the" at the front? is that just a coincidence? i mean i love: the hives, the strokes, the killers, the thrills, the stills, the early november,etc...is it just easier that way? and i dont mean to be mean! im just asking

that's true...(the thing with if the music's good the band's name won't matter)...but a band's name is part of its attitude really...i mean, you won't see a death metal band with the name "The Fuzzy Teddybears"...the hives chose their name b/c they get under people's skin...


the thrivers is a good name who ever said that...keep it.

if it matters at all that the name should relect what u guys stand for ...something with meaning not to just sound cool or catchy...it's hard to find such name but i thought the coolest name of a band was the Libertines..although i do like names such as Franz Ferdinand...Razorlight...they all sound nice but the music's the core

And what about the melodies,.. I think Music and starting a new band should have more effort put in to them than just a days work.

I remmember the good ol´90scene when bands actually deserved their audience,'
Bands like: Refused( Named as the last good rock band of the 90s by singer of Muse and singer of Depeche mode.!), Millencolin( two words!: "Twenty two"), The Hives, Randy, Monster, and not to forget.. Breach.

I´ts a shame.
Gonna end of with a quote from Refused:
