 Stop!
Greetings Hives and Hivettes,

Does anyone know who did the original version of a song the Hives did on their tour during 2001 that went:"Stop, and think it over/You better stop and think it over"? They performed it at the Witness Festival and their set was broadcast on 2fm.

Also, for those interested in the Hives influences, a band called The Saints have had their 3 albums re-released as a box set. According to the article I read, The Hives told the lead singer of The Saints that when they started out their set consisted almost entirely of Saints covers. Billy Childish has also spoken about how bands like the Hives and the White Stripes have helped to raise his profile by talking about how he influenced them. Jack White invited him to perform with them on Top of the Pops.

Finally, does anyone have information on a band called the Barbed Wires who supported the Hives in Edinburgh?
