I LOVE THE HIVES...DO YOU LOVE THE HIVES?
The HIVES SUCK! learn how to play. You can't sing. You must have a ball kicker on the side of the stage to help you sing like you are in excrutiating pain, but have that attitude that you can still sing...however, you're just transferring the pain to US! If that ball kickin job ever becomes available, can I have it? One final word, you fellas don't deserve an ounce of the attention you've gotten. I guess kids like squirley, greasy lookin guys who like to pretend to know how to play music, not guys who are real musicians. You are a shame to soulful musicians around the world

since when have you had to be soulful to be any good...hmmm...yeah i don't think ever. well maybe there isn't any point in replying to this asswipe, but i shall continue. the whole beauty of the hives is their style. a musical genius once said "the hives rock because they show restraint". i quite agree...they rock out hard, but everything is tight...every word, groan, and noise is, hmm...i don't want to say calculated...hmm. the point is, they put effort into the way the songs sound. that's why they're better than crappy bands that just get up and start yelling. it's dimension...dimension! if you don't like it fine whatever, but who cares. some people need to learn how to appreciate music, even if they don't necessarily enjoy the style. there's a lot of crap out there i don't like, but i realise that it's that person's musical inspiration. flat out we're all artists. we think we know what's good, and what's not. hence we try to be impressionable upon each other. but only the ignorant among us can't appreciate a different musical direction.

By the way, the Hives aren't the greatest magicians (in my opinion Muse are far more talented) but they rock the hell out of anywhere they perform...
.......its about entertainment....the sharp suits....the catchy hard hitting songs...the cocky sweedish accents..it all comes together to make a good band....and thats wat counts...

Just as there is no point in posting about how much a band sucks on a message board for that band, there is even less to reply to the person that does it. All it gives them is the satisfaction of pissing a few people off.

However, being as I have already replied to this topic, I feel I should comment anyway.
It should be said that it takes a pretty bored guy to create an account on a message board to bring down a band. Because of this, I suggest one thing for you buddy... A life.
