this
spells trouble for live shows.

It also spells heartache for my little sister who was a huge fan of Pantera. Lord knows why...

yeah it was him
5 people were killed, my brother-in-law was feet away from one of the victims.

The Hives played at the Newport, a much more secure, better venue, it still scares me, though. I am worried that security is going to be outrageously hightened and such

NME sucks
they are wrong about so much stuff. I live in the area, local news is going to be more accurate than a UK magazine.

another thing
another thing, im wondering how security at shows will be now? i remember at the hives show in atlanta that you just buy your ticket and walk in, no one checks you or anything and the only "security" i saw inside were the guys catching crowd surfers! so it might get a little tighter now which is good and bad! i want to be safe, but i dont want them to be too strict on our love for a band we're seeing!!
mrs.arson babbles too much

well...
last night on the news they were talking about how they are now planning to have more security and a bunch of new shite for all concerts. i think its gay. just because some psycho decides that hes gonna kill some people because they "broke up his favourite band" the rest of us should not have to suffer. i wouldnt doubt they start using metal detectors at all concerts now.

RIP
I'm not a huge metal fan, but I know that "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott was an extremely talented musician. One of the best metal guitarists out there.

Apparently the shooting was on the same date as John Lennon's death... very strange coincidence.

And it's a shame that these crazed "fans" have to ruin it for all of us who just come for the music and want to see a good show.
