OMG OMG OMG Lawrence was AMAZING! I touched Pelle's thigh and it was soooooooooooooooo hot! I was kicked in the face by a body surfur, haha. Me and my friend karly went together, karly had hardly known about them at all haha. now she's hooked and even a member of this site!!!!! I will NEVER forget that night...Dr. Matt Destruction gave both of us guitar picks with his name on them! I offered a guy EIGHTY DOLLARS for a drumstick thrown into the crowd by Chris, and he still wouldnt negotiate! but, wow, it was FANTASTIC!!! WE WERE FRONT ROW CENTER BABY, BEST IN THE HOUSE!! THE HIVES CONCERT ROCKED!!!! Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!! THIS CONCERT WAS AWESOME!!!!! BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE OR EVER WILL GO TO!!!!! Right from the start, after the sort of interesting opening bands, the Hives were just workin' the crowd. I went with my friend, Jenn and we ended up front row to the right of the stage right in between Pelle and Nicholaus! Perfect spot for us (since we are both relatively short for our age). Pelle was doing some awesome jumps and wow can he swing that microphone, I'd probably take my head of if I tried some of his moves! Pelle came over and stood on the railing right in front of me and Jenn so we got to help hold him up and he even shook our hands during the concert!!!! That was soooooo exciting for me! Bands never seem to interact with the crowd, but THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!! Nicholaus did a wonderful job! He popped the a couple strings on his guitar twice, but just kept playing. He about made all of us girls out there die with his little sexy stares and little twitch of the eyebrow. Nicholaus also threw all his guitars picks out into the crowd and I was lucky enough to catch one!!!! (seems like short people at concerts can never manage to catch anything). Like I said this was THE BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!! They were soooooooooo friendly and appreciative and just totally on fire!!! I could go on and on and on about them for sooooo long!!!!! ( I told you guys in a previous post I wasn't going to shut up about it!) I wanted to stay and try to meet them afterwards because I've heard they are just as nice off stage as they are on, but it was midnight and we had to drive back home to Topeka because of school this morning. :( Hopefully they will be back soon! I heard people talking ALL DAY LONG about how awesome they were in the hallways of our school. So if any of the Hives like to read what we loco fans have to say about their concert, here's a little note just for all of you!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!! THANKS FOR MAKING ME AND EVERYONE ELSE ENJOY SUCH A TOTALLY WONDERFUL CONCERT!!!!!! DON'T FORGET ABOUT US BACK IN LAWRENCE AND PLEASE COME BACK SOON!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!! Leah

AllRight! the Almighty Hives conquer kansas! Shock & Awe! These guys are Good Live - i know that - I've seen em twice here in seattle. They are special, no doubt about it. They kinda know it too which is neat because they still treat their fans pretty special too. Hey - Rotanislek - I was gonewiththewind when U posted or i would of said Something! Tell us more - you got there early? u saw the Bus/ maybe u got a chance to chat b4 the show. ? i wanna hear all about it - of course- Congratulations on getting up front - There is a God? What kinda place was it/ Describe it/ was it sold out. was it packed. Did U and everyone else get completely Hot & Sweaty? And one more thing Lawrence - you are very lucky that the Hives came to visit U, I'm sure you treated them right with much love and respect?

anduhhh... Did they play an "extended" set? Over 60 minutes? Let me share this - the first time i saw the hives - I hadn't even seen a picture of them yet- just heard a couple songs on the radio (main offender & Die-allright) and read an article about how pelle was ripping off micK Jagger or some such total nonsense - And when they ran out onstage i actually laughed - theVigilante was getting pretty Porkedout and he had a Big Elvis Pompadour hairdoo, and Dr. matt looked like some little Greek waiter from Athens, But - once they started playing i realized this was a Real Rock-n-Roll Band. the heart of the Band is the Rhythm section including Vig who just Grinds out the songs. those guys are so good - and it frees up pelle and nicArson too just Go off on the rhythm section. And They Do. Indeed they do! Both times i saw em at the Showbox in seattle a Fantastic Venue and i was right to the right of the edge of the stage, not right in front of nic but off to the side a few feet. perfect for me. Lordy - he is Entertaining. and pelle is just basically magnificent. he's not Ripping anybody off. he is his own man up there. Anyway i wanna hear more..., please. Albuquerqe next Stop.

Oh Hell yeah Yes I did see thier bus, and I did take a picture of it...we waited in line for two hours before doors opened, I was paranoid about getting close. Me and my friend were pretty much in the center, just a little to the left so that we could get a hold of Pelle when he got up between the speakers and stepped onto the barrier. I swear, I touched him ALL OVER! he almost got my bracelet, but it was knocked to the floor! Nicholaus came over to visit a lot, licking the tips of his fingers, then running his fingertips along his chest! He was TAUNTING US! I wanted to get someone to throw me up on stage, but these five men are my Gods and I respect them more than anything in the world (I'm atheist so I feel no guilt in saying that haha) I was wearing I black Hives hoodie I had just bought, over my other shirt, so HELL YES IT WAS HOT IN THERE haha. all of the people pushing up against me, ramming me into the railing, giving me bruises on my elbows and knees...BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The best feeling in the world!!!! I was wearing these really tall white shoes to go with my black and white outfit, and I'm sure my feet must have hurt like hell, but I felt no pain as I was jumping up and down for soooooooo long, I just surrendered to The Hives and all I felt was ecstasy...I saw that Dr. Matt Destruction was looking over at me and I screamed at him that I loved him...then he walked right up to me and my friend and HANDED US PICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congrats damn you guys had an awesome night at that show! sounds awesome!!! congrats!! i thought it was so sexy all the looks nicholaus gave during the show(ATLANTA) and it was so hottt!!! he kept lickin his fingers and strummin the guitar or rocking out?which ever? but he like gives these really sexy stares and god its so soooo hot!!! pelle and the other guys are soo cool too, iheld pelle as well up on the speaker!!! i wish i would have had more experiences like yall but it was awesome just seeing them live!!!!BEST EVER!! Rock on ALMIGHTY HIVES FANS!!!! Mrs. Arson with love!!

It's not a huge place, but perfect for rock concerts...I dont know how many people it takes..... Kissezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Kelsie
