HAPPY NAME DAY, NICHOLAUS!
It's SIR NICHOLAUS ARSON's name's day. (not his birthday) Apparently, in Sweden... Dec. 6th is the day to celebrate the name Nicholaus.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Why do they celebrate names in Sweden, and does this happen elsewhere???

 well my theory
it is saint nicholaus day. december 6th. it is a holiday. like santa he leaves presents in you shoes or stockings.
in the old posts he wrote this:

Every date in the calendar here in Sweden has a name. On the 6th of december it's 'Nikolaus' and 'Niklas', so actually Nicholaus celebrated both of his names.

When it's your name's day, you have "Namnsdag" - "Name's day".

It's funny that the 6th of dec is the name day of Nicholaus. 'cause the Sint Nicolaas thing we have here in holland is 5 dec, and that guy died on dec 6. So I guess it has something to do with eachother. Could be it's a old story/legend.

Name Day
For whoever said they don't have a name day... I was in Prague a couple of summers ago. I'm sure someone on this board has been as well. If so, did anyone see the legendary clock thing. Well on the face of the clock is has a circular calendar thing with a name on each day of the year but it's small and I only know cause of a tour group leader who told us. ANYWAY... they said one of the days (I forget which day) is Name day for everyone whose name isn't designated a day. So fear not! You DO have a name day, in Prague at least :)
By the way, on your birthday in Prague you buy your cake and throw your own party...

haha i did notice that about the pics people post? i thought that he actually looks kinda weird? he looks good in alot of pics, but the one with the fans, he mostly looks freaked out or something? nicholaus looks good tho!! always!!! i love pelle too!!
