It's gone! Just...Gone!
Alright, I attended the Hives concert at the Gypsy Tea Room on the 27th. I've been a Hives fan for a while, and I've always liked their look. Especially Dr. Matt Destruction. His piercing eyes, sideburns. But most of all, his mustache. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there has never, and and never will be a manlier mustache. In fact words fail me, to describe it further. So there I was, at the concert, the Roger Sisters had exited some 17 minutes ago. The room goes black, the crowd screams, and the familiar red neon sign that displays "The Hives" snaps on. Dark sillouhettes run on stage and then in a flash the stage lights come back on to reveal... No mustache?!? B-B-but what is Doc. without his mustache? I almost burst out in tears (not really, but I admit I was pretty startled and bummed out). Please, could you, my fellow enthusiasts offer some words of tiding, to help ease this great pain that has come over me? Thank you.

He looks... I don't really know. He looks kinda like a big baby (his face that is). If you look at some of their older pictures, like the album cover for barely legal, you'll see. Honestly it's not that bad, but damn that mustache was cool.

I heard that he shaved it because too many people recognized him easly or someone called him the "pringles man" but i only heard it

He has a pretty round face, and I guess since he has some baby fat on him, it just makes the picture complete. Haha....babyfat.

Another thing....
Is that it seems like the mustache was his personality in the Hives. If you think about it, Pele is the off the wall guy, Arson has his jerky robot like movements, Dangerous seems to be the tough guy, Carlstroem seems to be the only one who doesn't have a particular identity... at least to me.

:D That's funny.

I read an article before where Dr Matt's moustache was brought up. I think it was something about him having to shave it of when he was in his hometown, otherwise people kept recognizing him all the time.
