Hey.
I want to start a topic where people post pictures of themselves, but I can't figure out how to post one of myself. If any of you could help me get this rolling, I'd be much appreciative.

Go to http://www.imageshack.us/index.php, upload the pic there. Copy the url and put it between the [img] [/ img]

You have to put in on internet first like www.picturetrail.com And then use the url something like www.mypicture.com and put it between the [ img ] thingies!

Yeah
It's the fact that they are in a blog i can't see it.
You have to use a picture off the my space place you post the pictures where people comment on, get it? So look up a picture on that space, right or left click on the picture and look up hs url (: put that between the img thinies! And done!
