Haven´t heard Cake... :/

But I´m not really into Beck either... I´ve liked what I´ve heard, but not enough to buy any albums...

You're very quick with the bands, aren't you Danuka!
I'm really in to Beck and Cake, right now. I'm not quite sure why, though. Old Cake is really good.

Howsa 'bout...

The Psychadelic Furs (?)

I've only ever heard one song, and I haven't got a clue about their history. What should I think of them? (Hehe)

they were amazing...
it was a great concert. they really know how to work a crowd. and they are extremely nice guys. there was a homeless guy asking everyone for money outside of the concert while we were waiting to meet them and they brought him out a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a beer. it was so cool of them. he didnt take it because he only wanted to buy drugs with the money but still its the thought that counts. and the singer was super sweet when i asked him for a hug. and the trumpet player told me he liked my hair, which i had dyed blue and purple for the concert. it was an awesome day.

and ...
when we told them that we had driven from pittsburgh all the way to cincinnati to see them, especially since there was a snow storm that morning, they were really surprised. it took so long to get there. but it was so worth it.

 Just another couple plugs
Once again, I urge you all to check out The Futureheads, because a couple people recognized the other two bands I already mentioned but not these cool Brits.
Other bands that are sure to rock:
Dogs Die in Hot Cars
Hot Hot Heat
The Stills

Ska?
The only ska I've ever heard is Madness, and I loved it. Please reccomend some more bands.
At the moment my favourites are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Biffy Clyro and The Clash.

The Specials. The only English ska band worth its salt, IMHO.
