Devo they were/are pretty intersting. Whip it isn't retarded! is it? i think it's great especially when you understand the words and all. The "man" in the band is a guy named Mark mothersbaugh. He has been making millions and millions of dollarsUS since Devo by doing music for television shows (kids Cartoon shows) he's been very prolific, and has done some film work too. the first time i saw the hives -vvvtour'02- my first impression was "how Devoesque"

And yes, Mothersbaugh has been doing a ton of soundtrack - most notably he's been working with Wes Anderson who did Rushmore and The Royal Tennebaums.
