Am I to understand... that The B. Hives are not the real HIVES, but rather a bunch of girls with similar stage-names who do covers? ... *in sarcastic tone* Wow! How fresh! Original too! AHH! WHY DON'T YOU JUST SPIT IN THE ANGELIC FACES OF THE BEAUTIFUL HIVES! HOW DARE YOU MAKE A MOCKERY OF THEM! ONLY THEY CAN DO THE HIVES, AND DO THE HIVES WELL! YOU FOOL! YOU UNORIGINAL FOOL! AHH! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MUTILATE THEIR GENIUS TO FIT YOUR OWN FILTHY AND COMMON ABILITIES! AHH!

.... Gahhh *twitch* Girls do NOT suck at rock and roll! Maybe some do and maybe some don't but I hate it when people make such general statements!!!! I happen to be in an all-female band myself (not really a band...we jam and cover songs but don't even have a name) and we rock! And I know plenty local female bands, even some metal ones! (Not necessarily all-female, but including females) Well anyway...as for this..imposter band...yeah, what Polly said.

The main deffender....... What's wrong so called Polly Napoleon? Don't you know how to have fun in Harrisburg-Pennsylvania? WE ARE ON YOUR SIDE AS HIVES FANS. The last thing we want is to mutilate anyne's genius, nor do we want to make a mockery of anyone. All we want is to have fun, and fun we shall have. When 'Hollerin Shelley Abbatoire' met the 'REAL' Hives on their last uk tour and told them about the B.Hives, they seemed to like the idea and took it in the light-hearted way it was intended. As for the female thing, 'Girls in bands'. The two girls we have in our band are ambassadors for 'rock girl-kind' and you (as a girl) would be proud as they are both great at what they do. We also do have an original band and do very well with it thanks. Perhaps you could send us a demo of your band if you are so fantastic, we would love to hear it. We could send you our original stuff. It would be interesting to know what you think of it. We would prefer you heard it first before you started slagging it off. GOODBYE!

Well... I hold stong to what I've said before. While THE ALMIGHTY HIVES, may be flattered that their fans do covers of their songs, etc. As a fan of THE HIVES, I am not to keen on the idea of other fans immitating THE HIVES. In my opinion, only THE HIVES can play the glorious music of THE HIVES well, so everyone else is just making a mockery of their music, because it can't possibly be nearly as good. You say you want to hear my band, eh? Well, if we were friends that would be perfectly fine. You are not my friend. My failure to do as you challenged me in your "defense" wouldn't make me any less right than I am. I think it's absolutely fantastic if you gals have a band that plays your own stuff. For that reason, I would consider being chit-chatty with you, but the whole HIVES cover-band thing is just too awful for words.

I stand by my beliefs I said "girls usually suck at rock and roll" and I stand by that because there is completely unbiased documentation I could turn to over the past 50 years to prove this. A couple of girls who claim to be good themselves is no way to defeat what I said. Try finding a reasonable argument against what I said. There are a few who do not suck at rock and roll, and here are the ones I immediately thought of: Tina Turner Aretha Franklin Yeah, that's it for now. Not many compared to the men, and that's simply because great rock and roll demands the energy and aggression that is mainly supplied thru testosterone. Most girls suck at rock and roll.
