Down in Adelaide, in the south of Australia you have two choices; listen to hardcore music, or survive a yearlong drought in anticipation for what is the BDO. Drawing bands from interstate and overseas, you have requested a position on our line-up. But WHY, WHY, are you only playing the east coast. Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane already get the good music, do you really need to punish us further for living down here? Disgruntled, Chalk654 |

Is this some sort of Statecontrol? I say it is a Diabolic Scheme! The good people of Perth, and Adelaide as well, deserve The Hives! Surely an extra week to the tour isn't too bad? Who cares about going to Sydney, Melbourne etc., everyone goes there, how about coming to the most isolated city in the world? A city completely surrounded by desert. And with the largest Swedish population in the southern hemisphere! (Actually i don't know if that's strictly true but I have a lot of Swedish friends at uni). Remove the (NZ and east coast only) after your name in the bill, tour ALL of Australia! Yours in anticipation, Perth |

You have so many fans in Australia and NZ, it seems a pity to leave off a few places for a week. You are easily the best act of your and if you dont come you will be dissapointing a whole bunch of people because the international line up will then suck. Dont add to the neglect Adelaide and Perth suffer from. Come on Hives. Just do it, it will be fun. |

I'm really quite disappointed that you aren't coming to Adelaide and I feel that the Big Day Out will really be lacking without a band like the Hives. The Big Day Out is the only event of its kind and every state should have the opportunity to see all the major bands. Futility is no longer a friend. ALL of Australia NEED the Hives. |

I also doubt the fact that the Hives read this, but it makes me feel better knowing that it's more than just me who feels ripped off. And yes we listen to music (it can be done whilst typing), hence the fact we want them to play Adelaide and Perth. If we didn't listen to music then we wouldnt want them to play. So don't come in here and slander us, just because we weren't impressed that The Hives skipped Adelaide dosen't make us pessimistic or whiny little bastards. Random stuff is good. All the bands are touring the whole of australia and i find that most the bands i love and adore such as radiohead and at this present time THE HIVES choose to disregard this side of the country. PERTH AND ADELAIDE ARE AWESOME! i mean its hard enough living in this town with hardly any good music coming our way. The hives should break the mould and come here . Isnt that what alternative bands are about? breaking the mould? Thats their image right? yours truly one dissapointed hives fan ps. expect a signed petition to be sent to you in the following weeks! |
