It's become popular to bash the Strokes, but instead, I come here today with a more specific purpose: WAKE UP, JULIAN. Dude, only Oasis was able to make a career out of being bored, and they're not exactly lighting up the charts these days. I'm giving you a 10 CC tranfusion of James Brown, stat. Also, your drummer is more famous than you, which severely undermines your frontman cred. He's boning Drew Barrymore, so outdo him by boning Drew's mom

Strokes can't help being boring. If you look up the definition of Boredom in a dictionary you'll see a picture of the whole band.

The first time I saw them I was utterly bored. The second time I had a chance to see them (my drummer works for the XM Radio Garage station that organized the garage fesitval last summer and we had free tix) we both turned down the opportunity. The Strokes just plain don't move me to the point where I need to own their cds or see them live.

He was hilarious and climbed up the speakers to the balcony net and then went all the way around and came down on the other side of the stage. They are full of energy on stage and are pretty damn funny off stage as well. anyone here get in transit the fan club dvd?
