A truce does nothing for you except allow you to continue being exactly who you are and disallow yourself to become a better (or smarter) person. I'm not calling you stupid, by the way. You simply haven't offered anything. All I ask is that if you put something up on a board, back it up. If you say things like "I believe it so then it has to be true" then you've got nothing. A couple of posts ago you said that the only history book you need was the bible. And after that you started quoting WW2 statistics so obviously you don't need JUST the bible. And obviously you know more than just the bible. All I'm saying, and I'm not picking on you - you're the person who posted your views first - is that if you are going to say something and you get challenged on it, back it up. I have destroyed every one of your arguments and you have not yet come back with a good reply except a truce. I'm ok with a truce, but are YOU ok with a truce? You can keep on believing the Earth is flat, but you'd just be wrong. So if it's a truce you want, hey, no prob. If it's to become a better person, make your case, man. |

Dude, pick any book you like for me to read - you can pick the bible if you want. I'll read it again. The book I'd like for you to read is really easy and kind of eye opening. It's about the war on terror. It's called Imperial Hubris. It's not really Bush bashing, either. It's more like an explanation why Osama hates us and it as written by a guy who spent the last 20 years studying Osama. I also promise that at the end of it you will not like Osama (he is a sick fukkk). Read that, tell me what you think. take out at the library. If tey don;t have it, ask for an interlibrary loan and they'll get it for you. Now what would you like me to read? |
