About the groopies thing, I had the bad luck to see how a @#~€$* woman approched Dr Matt , saying really horrible and nasty things I'd never repeat . We asked him 4 a picture and she pushed me to get by his side and place her arm around him, why do i need a picture of that disgusting whale?? She didn't understand his thinking (: i don't like you just go away f*** b*** ) and even said he was naughty! I'd have killed her.. but as I said, nothin could have ruined my nite! |

But..., the guys do have a Testosterone fueled "Attack" that certainly makes the young girls Swoon (that's Rock n Roll for ya!) and a lot of otherwise marginally sensible young women would - on impulse - offer themselves to the boys. You go Girls. i don't Blame ya. Unfortunately these young men are Swedish. that means they are smart, multi-lingual, and raised to respect basic "family values". Temptation is Everywhere, of course. that's always gonna be there. Well. that being said, that naughty nicolas Arson, after a particularly fierce bout of riffage, did grap his crotch ala Wacko Jacko (the World's weirdest man!) and point directly into the crowd, i would suspect (and hope) at a particularly fresh young lady who had removed her "shirt" Yeah! that was at the last Showbox show, july 30th. And that's the way it's s'pos'd ta B. |

Of course the Girlfriends and maybe wives and kids are along for the eurotour and they all look good of course - after all they are swedish fer krist sake. But all the local girls who show up already in Love and some already to Give it up Completely for the hives or pelle or nicolas or chris or matt or even Vig maybe. But they come, and they are beautiful. And as far as i'm concerned the Spanish Women are by far the hottest in Europe (sorry italy). The mini-skirt has Never gone out of style in Spain. that pretty much says it all. ? |

(Like those legendary stories from Zeppelin, Kiss, Motley Crue. etc.) I know they still obviously exist, but I thought they weren't as popular amongst bands as they used to be back in the day. Anyone else's thoughts on this? |

They even were not really big fans or something, it was like "Oh this band plays here, bla bla" they went to it, tried to come back stage and after the show they tried to get in the tourbuss etc and party. I really hope that the guys of the Hives are not like that.. They don't seem to if they have girlfriends and wives at home.. Oh about Pelle's girlfriend, from which band is she? She 's in a band right? I wish i've waited after the hives concert in Amsterdam. Can't stand it! WTF was i thinking?! |

The music of the band, in my opinion, is pretty unimpressive. Sahara Hotnights is basically a slightly better Swedish version of The Donnas. |

Anyway I think we got our own style, and we are not so fashion victims like the british for example. But that has absolutely nothin to do with the groupies thing XD About the spanish groupies somethin really weird happened to me. When we went to the after party i asked for a signature to the cdoass bass player and then a girl asked me to sign too. I was like "what?" , she was blond so I figured out she was swedish and the girlfriend or something. I asked her and she was spanish, i guess she was trying to flirt but i found the whole situation quite ridiculous. I'm gonna check to see if i can find a picture of that famous Maria!!! I'm sure I'm way more beautifull XD!! |
