Teachers who memorize textbooks full of info that some other silly human conjured up so that he could go down in history as Snooty Prickhead, PHd. And then these teachers regurgitate this crap back at you in a deathly dull fashion, insisting that you fall on your face in awe at the wonderful ideas Snooty Prickhead, PHd, thought up while sitting on the toilet. My most hated prof right now? This incredibly scatterbrained lady who writes reams of notes on the boards without any discernible stop or beginning, just a bunch of words strung up together in a random order. Then she skips around back and forth about a millenia or two in Roman history, and finally at the end of the class, when your entire sense of direction is gone and yesterday and 500 years ago are one and the same, she informs you that she wants you all to be really organized and methodical, because she herself is organized, methodical, and we'll find that she teaches in a very chronological order. Like hell she does. And THEN she has the nerve to tell us to go and buy a frickin' $100 textbook. Yeah, so in short, she really sucks. So do you guys have any teacher rants? |

| Whack*A*Mole registered: 8/16/2004 00:00 posts: 80 | well... most of my teachers are pretty good this year. but last year i had this science teacher and she had a bald spot which distracted me form learning! she also would whisper at me to be quiet but it was like a stage whisper so everyone could hear. And she would also just write notes on the board from the beginning to end of the class without any explaination of what they were about. it made me very angry... and consequently i came out of science with a 65%. grrr stupid teachers |
