i dont have a band yet but me and my sister decided were forming a band and were going to be "KACOCK" but in the logo the second k is backwards(with have this thing where things have to be symmetrical) my sister designed it.

The Sell-Outs.

I have everything planned, songs are ready, I´ve made up album titles, I´ve decided what to wear on stage, I know a place where we can rehearse, and I also know where we could perform.

The only problem is that I haven´t got a band. I know people who play in bands, but they don´t like the kind of music I do and all they want to do is play some stupid HIM-covers or progressive rock. =(

Hand Wash Only is the band i'm in.. we're a two piece literal "drum and bass band"..

i play bass and provide vocals, my friend josh plays the drums.. if The White Stripes and Whirlwind Heat had a love child, we'd sound like that.. which is about right, because they're my inspiration.. i cover atleast one TWS song at every show...

my equipment:
Bass: Fender P-Bass Deluxe, Epiphone P-bass rip off (i love the lower quality instruments)
Amp: Fender Bassman 100 Watt amp
Pedals: Digitech Whammy! and Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi

that's all i use..

the name for my band would be:

Amy.

it's not so much a brilliant name, but the origin behind it is genious. my best bud & i both love ac/dc, espetially the guitarist of ac/dc, Angus.
his full name being:
Angus McKinnon Young. as a tribute, taking the first letters of each name (making an acronym)
with his name would come up with the word,
"Amy". thus, the name of my band.

and thats my story.

yeah, it has a cool origin. But if someone say Amy on a poster,hmm, Amy. Thats the gayest* name ive ever heard.See, most people dont know the origin of a band name unless your a fan. But if you saw AC/DC on a poster. "hmmm, AC/DC. Thats a kick ass name, I bet they're good." Ive done a lot of thinking about band names.

 Double Trouble
my friend and I want to start a band and we look alike and are similar in a lot of other ways so we'd call ourselves Double Trouble. It sounds cheezy and it would probably be a cover band or something.

If you named your band that, no1 would ever wanna listen to you. That name sucks. No offense, but I highly recomend you dont use that as ur band name. If so, good luck on ever getting anybody to even listen to you.
