lovin pelles hair registered: 8/18/2004 00:00 posts: 58	I KNOW IKNOW! I know that they're special becoz of all different things, but what makes them stick out in the crowd dya think? The suits look is gr8, the tunes are catchy and Pell's voice is as unique as Kurt Cobain's was.

They've got catchy lyrics all around, their songs are addictive, they have the ability to incorperate music from music from other era's with modern music. I can go on and on... but we'd be here all day.

seriously, i dunno how to explain that.... they've got so many stories about them, the thing about randy fitzimmons and that whole thing you know... becoz now everyone is interested in them and arguing 'bout that. and they're style is very important too. it makes sense that if you see guys dressed that way you will always remember them! and they're music is just......amazing! everithing to make them become your new favourite band!

Because! Because - They Rock so Hard. This is basic straight ahead Rock -n- Roll done to perfection. The Band - each of them individually- are basically Awesome in their role. The songs Speak to me. Directly. i understand what they are about, some of it is pretty Deep, and i like that. So right there you have a winning combination. Competent Players and interesting Songs. And then ..., the Hives Deliver the Goods. I'm talking about the live show. I've seen countless Great Bands Live in their Prime and been Blown Away - humbled by the Enormity of the Gift that is brought and Presented to the Audience. And the hives - They do That. They bring it - every night. And they Deliver it with an Energy that i won't even try to Describe.

I like it when you hear pretty nrmal statments, and it makes you think of lyrics from a song. It means the lyrics are fantstic and stik in your brain. Like the demo i gave above. Becoz I hear the words idiot and think 'the hives'! But i have a one-track hives mind

Yeah! that's one of the "interesting" things about the hives is nicArson's "lead" guitar style. I love it. i've heard way too many long excellent guitar solo's. I like what nic does. he kind of Attacks the song. that's the way i see the hives; a World class rhythm section, Vig - matt - chris. these 3 grind out the songs. Nic - he just goes off on those guys. Pelle as well - he's just "Going off" on the rhythm section. I love it!

the hives are special because... of their professionalism, arrogance, appeal to younger and older audiences, sweetness in person, and how much they give onstage to their fans...i mean wow. the energy is also a factor to why i admire them. dont count out their wicked guitar skills...i mean nic and vigilante as well as dr. matt have got a gift to rock those guitars like anyone has ever seen. hives nut ^.^
