damn i hate them...
yeasterday i asked my parents if i can go to a Hives concert, and guess what they said?... NO! they said that i could go, if they came to our city (odense) i said that i want to go to Malmø, becausse they would come there in november or something... And now they need a REALLY good reason.. So, i told them that it was my favourite band, and i really want to go to a Hives concert, but its not good enough... Then i showed them Tyrannnosaurus Hives, and they hated the music! And now i ask´s you guyes: WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

I hate it when parents get like that.
But them hating the music shouldn't be a reason for you to not be allowed. I mean, would it make any difference if they loved the music?
I guess you'll have to ask them what it would take for them to let you go. Explain how much you love them and how much it means to you.

And hey by the way. I live in Norway, I wish I could see the Hives. Hmm. Maybe I can.. When is the concert and do you know how much it costs?

because they are they wear suits and tell them that there isn't any pot at hives concerts then tell them that you want to support your neighboring country (your from Norweigh right?) that should do it and if it doesn't run away.

it worked!! or it got better.. after doing all the thing you guyes said i should do, they said that if i payed all the costs, train to Malmø, tickets, all that stuff, then maybe i could go, but it was not a yes, they said... So it´s got better, and the people i can say thanks to is you guyes, so, THANKS!!! wee, i´m so happy: ) to UntutoredYouth: someone told me that they would come to malmø in novmeber or something.. thats all i know... : ) and to Stupid piece of crap: no, i´m not from norway, i´m from Denmark : )....

Ask them what they did when they where in ur age.. i guess they where hanging at concerts aswell.. but hey, point out that they smoked pots and where drunk as dolphins while u won't =)

But seriously, they don't need to know that. And as long as you try to stay away from them (Which, alas, I didn't), then you'll be gooooooood to rock out (Or something) and maybe meet 'em too.
