we've been over this many, many times many people in this forum agree that randy fitzsimmons is an imaginary person, thought up to confuse us fans and for the boys to have fun with. on the dvd that came with your new favourite band release in the US, nic talked about randy wanting to remain anonymous and that he doesn't want fame and fortune. the way he said and his facial expressions told me that he was fibbing through his teeth. i've met him before and i can read people pretty well. i don't know, i guess it's female intuition or something. anyway, The Hives themselves don't even know how to spell randy's last name. i don't remember who pointed this out, but fitzsimmons is spelled a different way on one of the albums. for me, randy is a mythical figure that is made up of all their musical energy. they were friends in fagersta first; they formed while they were still in the 8th grade. they also had the plan to have three albums and then disband. well TH just came out, i don't think they're going to disappear anytime soon. on the dvd nic says, "well that was the master plan, there's always a backup." ok i wrote too much . . . what y'all think about this?

hey? Couldn´t the person that they hives are mentioningn as Randy Fitzimmons have another name, and just be a dear friend of theirs. That friend may have made a comment about how it would be cool to do this and that..? Randy fitzimmons is not even a swedish name.. So, for thoose who actually believe it.. Don´t!.. Why would a foreign person walk up to a bunch of kids in their 13-14:s and say: "Hey, i´ve got a great idea for a band ;)" No way... BUT, Randy could just be a dear friend of theirs that doesn´t want to be famous, or a just a guy that the guys in the hives like and wanna joke around with.. And then maybe say to him: "hey, you know.. You are randy fitzimmonds.." My point is: that The name is fake, and that he actually has nothing to do with the band or the music.., The image though.. i do not know.

Maybe they're just chronic liars... Man, if I were in a band I would lie all the time too. Does anyone have any idea how fun it is to just bust out with this totally outrageous story just for the heck of it? I'm sorry but it is more fun than just about anything. Oh and about the repeated topics thing: I know I'm too lazy to just flip through all those boards and check if certain topics have been discussed before. There are too friggin many! NOTE TO WEBPAGE PERSON: put more topics on one page because I do not have the patience to click on NEXT PAGE of threads a million times!
