haha, no-one has a clue where that is. it's in scotland incase u were wondering.
kelso, with its population of 6000, isn't the most exciting place in the world. it's probably the scottish equivalent of fagersta. | | posted: 4/23/2004 10:14 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | North America = yawn Because I love everything English...even the rainy weather. If Britain and North America were compared to coffee shops, Britain would be like a Starbucks while North America would be like a coffee from McDonald's (if that makes sense to anyone but me). Most of my favourite authors come out of Britain. I also would like to live in Germany, though, and New Zealand. | | posted: 4/24/2004 10:00 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | Dag From what I can tell, everybody wants to live in anybody else's country. A head's up for ya. If you live in Europe and want to be in America, the drinking age is 21. That, and people will make fun of you for being foreign. American girls hate european guys. If you're a European girl, good job. Move. (lol) If you live in America and want to live in Europe, they never have good mexican food and Chinese food sometimes comes with french fries (chips) instead of rice. If you live in Canada and want to go to America, we don't have socialized healthcare and it sucks. If you live in a real 3rd world country, good luck and god be praised you got out. Trust me. I am an American moving to Manchester England in a couple months, and I've already been there. The music scene rules, but the food is really messed up. (baked beans with your eggs and toast, anyone). The language is always weird moving elsewhere, and nobody will think you're sexy for having a different accent (except for the european girls moving to the states. lol. naw, really, we'd just make fun of you behind your back for saying something we find weird. Just make the best of what you have. | | posted: 5/6/2004 00:19 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | In closing I never finish a post when I should.... Lol. just be happy where you are and realize that because you find something appealing is because it's from a different frame of mind, but you probably would hate being in that frame of mind. By the way, any Englishsters, I will love being a Mancuninan again, but it's really so different... Feck. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore... | | posted: 5/6/2004 00:23 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | simmer Wow. I don't know where in heck you hang out in America, but in Canada people love European accents, including girls. I don't know many girls who wouldn't go nuts over a foreign accent, even Pelle's indeciferable Swedish accent. Plus, I don't know any Canadians who want to live in America. (If you're moving to England, aren't you afraid someone will make fun of you for sounding like a dorky American?) Some people just appreciate other cultures and different ways of life. If you like everything about your country, stay there. If you want to see other places, go. | | posted: 5/6/2004 01:31 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | smoo aw, poor treble! people over here might grin at you uncontrollably when you say wardder instead of water. or rather, as i would say, wor'a, being cockney & all...
yes, i am from london, engerland, & it's kickarse, so there. you can get chips from our local chinese takeaway, but it's urr... not compulsary. i've never got chips from there... since when has egg & beans with toast been wierd?
the worst thing about england is that it doesn't have dum dum pops, & also that the crap royal mail claims "it's personal". & the tube keeps derailing. nice.
madchester is crazy, & has cool things like trams! & a really nice thai restaurant. & the night & day venue. but congratulations on going to live in the only city in engerland apart from london that has a pop boutique.
i love accents. especially blackcountry. but i am wierd.
