... I wore my lovely lovely Hives t-shirt to school today. Basically anyone that passed said "Haha, that band sucks." I flipped them off and said "Stick your head up your ass, you listen to crap." Then one boy was being particulary rude to me in a class, so I asked him why he hated me so much. He said because I was wearing a Hives shirt. Then I told him Jimi Hendrix sucked (he was wearing a hendrix shirt) and then he told me I was on crack. I loathe people.

There are a few though and usually when they express their hatred for a band I like I just give a sweet, understanding, "Awww...that's too bad" followed by a malicious stare and a snotty continuation of "...for YOU." And I walk away.

Still, if I did wear a Hives shirt to school (We have a school uniform, by the way) then I think I'd get criticism. My response to "That band sucks" is usually something ultrasarcastic like "Oh, thanks for telling me."

Yeh My band covers "Hate to say I told you so" and we do a pretty a gd job of it too if i may be so bold to say so ;) But then some kid at school told me that we shud not play the hives because he considers himself punk as he listens to blink 182 and hates the hives becuz they wear suits, so we played it wearing suits at the next gig, lol :) Also Im stubborn and self opinionated so wen ppl tell me the hives suck, I just insult their band, so its been guns and roses vs the hives and muse vs the hives and green day vs the hives lol (its ussually just my friends winding me up though) :)
