question:

When most non-hardcore Hives fans think of the Hives they think of "Hate to Say I told you So", "Walk Idiot Walk" "Main Offender" and maybe "Two Timing Touch and Broken Bones."

Yes, they all are very good songs and got mainstream coverage. I love all the Hives songs, but of all of their songs from any cd, which song do you think could of been listed with the songs above, or should have been appreciated more by the media? (music video, radio coverage, etc)

I changed this to my first choice, but I personally choose "Diabolic Scheme", because It just showcases how awesome The Hives can be when their not playing as fast as humanly possible. The strings are awesome on it (arent they synthisized?), and Pelle's vocals are superb. Oh yeah, and BEST CHORUS EVER!! Everyone i've showed it too has had "Said it just a diaboliiiccc, diabolic scheme, DIABOLIC SCHEME" stuck in there head for 2 days.

Secondly, I think that "Antidote" could of been really good song to be out there and "mainstream" i guess you could say. It's got a catchy theme, got great vocals by vig and nic, and I just generally really like it. Especially the "Ooooo" part throughout.

So the question is, what song do YOU think didn't get the media attention it deserved??

(oh and btw we all know all the hives song are good enough for that, but lets try to stick to one or two songs)

Stolpervogel registered: 8/2/2004 00:00 posts: 337	... i absolutely agree on antidote! actually a friend of mine, who hadnt even heard of the hives until i played them to her, said that antidote was their best song...and yes, she does know 'walk idiot walk', 'main offender' and so on! hm...apart from that i think 'knock knock' and 'find yourself another girl' (god, i love that song!) should have gotten more attention!
