 | I know Nic uses Fender Telecasters. AND I think Chris used Premiere drums back in the "Hate to say I told you so" video. Don't know if he's still using them or not but.. | | posted: 1/1/2005 18:36 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

I just remembered the back of the Walk Idiot Walk 7". Also on the the front, it has Vigilante and an Epiphone. Matt's looks like a Fender.

 | Excuse me ?.. But Why the fuckk would Vigilante use an Epiphone when he can afford a Gibson?. Thats would be like if Nick was using a squire for 200$ instead of a fender for 2390$ (wich he is) | | posted: 1/2/2005 15:21 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | Yeah, I realized I mixed up the videos, but never changed it.
bloodymary: Epiphone is to Gibson as Squire is to Fender. They're the cheaper version.
Epiphone's still a great guitar though. Loads better than Squire.

 | epiphone you're right i've got an epiphone too, and it's the best guitar i ever played at. There is not sutch a big diffrence between a pure gibson and cheeper epiphone. | | posted: 1/3/2005 02:39 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | guitar brands You were right about Vigilante using an Epiphone. In many of the recent videos and shows he has been using a variety of Epiphone Coronets, these were made in the early sixties before Epiphone was owned by Gibson. Really nice and well built guitars. He seems to have a could with a variety of mini-humbucker combos or a single P-90 pick up in the bridge position.
And the white Telecaster Arson has been using is no fender, its a custom made by some shop in sweden that loosly resembles a Fender Esquire (basically a tele with no neck pick up). Besides that he has several Fender telecasters.
Matt seems to alternate between a Fender Precision bass and a few Fender '72 Telecaster basses (large neck position pickup). | | posted: 1/3/2005 05:19 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | Hey, I think Epiphone suxx.. I have a Epiphone Speciall 2 guitarr.. And it sounds like a quire of a million teenage voice-brakes... I was talking with some of my friend about perhapps fully tune it on the first gig with our new band. And then when were about to start, I cut all the strings off with a scissor, then i set it on fire.. THATS HOW MUCH I FUCKIN HATE IT.
IT cant carry a tune, it just flicks over from E to D#.. I get so mad.
Ahh well, Either destroying it in style or get at least 67$ for it. | | posted: 1/3/2005 13:04 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | Hiya! Hey at some point back during the last tour somedbody was pointing out that BigVig was using a "Gretsch White Falcon" on a few songs. anybody know about that. The main point about the Epiphone guitar(s) that BigVig uses is these are "Older" Vintage guitars that were made when Epiphone was independent of gibson. That's the way i understand it. Arson's white "Telly" isn't a tele at all, like the guy explained above it's a guitar made by a Swede who custom crafts guitars, but obviously Arson has always favored fender Telecasters. he's got a distinctive telly sound goingon most of the time. | | posted: 1/3/2005 16:16 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |
