J-Kor registered: 6/23/2004 00:00 posts: 0	Suits i was thinking of starting a band with all of the members wearing matching suits. i don't want it to be a hives copy band because in the 50s and 60s, bands always wore matching suits. anybody have an opinion on this?

suits are spiffy there cool and create the image of something thought out and show that your serious not some little crapp*y punk*ass wannabe band or you could dress really neatly like the franz' or...... have you ever seen a really early pic of the stones...? they dressed like mods...MODS thats it dress like mods bring back the classy generation!! YAY!!! this isnt them being very mod but its a cool picture anyway...

Suits I LOVE the idea of a band wearing matching suits. I don't remember where, But I saw the hives talking about they do it cause like in old movies each of the gangs all dressed the same, and it's the same Idea with Bands, you all dress the same and people know who you're with and you're going up against the other bands. Also I live in Vancouver and I havent the foggiest of ideas of where to get some Spats. For those who don't know what they are, the hives are all wearing them over their shoes on the back of the Tyrannosaurus Hives cd case or record sleeve. So anyone who'd know where I could get some spats in Vancouver let me know.
