meeting the hives! first i would like to say that i'm french so excuse me for my poor english... so i went to toronto(to learn english...ouch...)and i didn'nt manage to get tickets for the show.i was so disapointed i decided to go anyway to meet them at sunrise records.so i saw thew i i was so shy i couldnt say a word!(wanted to hurt myself after that!)so we went outside with my sister and we finaly decided to come back an hour later to see if they were still there. they were at the back of the store taking pictures with the staff. there was a big guy that told us that we were not able to go in;but i stayed there (my siter wanted to go) and a guy came behind us and told us "the hives alow you to come in" aaaww the phrase of my life! i was so amazed!so we came in and spoke with them ( i finally manage to say something!) and took pictures!they're very nice!then the guy who told us to comme in spoke to us and asked us if we had tickets for the show... and then(we didn't ask anything) he took our names and told us we were on the hive's VIP list!! so I went out of the store and on my way back home I was shoutin' in the streets jumping around and saying everyone things like "the hives are the best swedish product after krisprolls!!" (i think they can't imagine how happy poeple can be when they offer things like that!) so we went to the show and it was awsome! (i was on the left just in front of vigilante.) during the show i was looking at nichaulus arson and i didn't pay attention to what was pelle doing. when i turned my head i received pelle right on me! i had the reflex to put my and over my head and he catched my hand(i'm not sure this is english...) so one of his hand was holding the micro and the other one was holding my hand! i was laughing so much because everyone around wanted his hand and it was only for me!! i think i received also a mediator in my eye but someone catch it before me..my sister received a wet towel too! well that was my experience!and it was just amazing when i went back home (to go then to a sushi party) i was just still on another world and i couldn't say something normal... have you got some kind of experience like that??

Just so happens Chris and Pelle were there too. Nothing too heartwarming about that. We just "hung out" for a bit, and took pictures and stuff. By the way, your English is very good. Well done. :)

Wow! Hi - Hey, that's a great story. I'm new here but I've seen the Hives perform twice, both times at the showbox in seattle, wa., usa. The first time was definitely the Best, although this last time, july 30, was a transcendent voyage to nirvana. This Band is so Good! and from readingf the stories around here i'm getting the impression that these guys, this band, are actually Fabulous Fabulous human beings. i have read just story after story here of people running into these guys before and after shows and the band member really take the time and make the effort to touch their fans. The Live show that these guys perform on stage is definitely my favorite part of the hives. i love em all. Especially Vigilante& Dr. Matt, those guys are just a "Killer" rhythm section, and they are so funny looking, when i first saw them- I think i actually laughed and said to myself, " u gotta b kedding" Oh Sweet lord those boys can play, and they bring it, They Share it with us. That's why i love em so much. Back to your story - It just goes to show you the Power of Persistence, and Desire.

U people must - Must - go see the hives as soon as possible (those of you indicating u have never seena show) As good as the songs are, as good as the videos are, as good as the boys Look, and as Wacky as their attitudes can be; Far - Far and away , the Best thing About the Hives is their Live Performance. ................. well before the show me and my friends were just walking around then we saw pelle and chris!! we got there autographs and talked to them for a little but then they had to go to sound check. during the show i got nics guitar pick! and when pelle was drinking out of his water bottle he handed it out to the crowd and everyone grabbed for it and he said let this girl have it! and so i took a drink and passed it on. when dr.matt was sitting on the steps watching the opening act i pointed at him showing my friend were he was then he waved!! and i touched pelles hand like 8 times!! that concert was soooooo awesome!!!!

... ok i have 2: 1. i was in the audience and like pelle came into and then when he tried to get back over he climbed over but then his mic chord almost strangled me like yea and that may not sound good but it made happy the thought that if i were to die from bein strangled it would be from the hands from one of the guys i love!....now that may sound insane but i dont care... 2. when nic look into my eyes when they had taken like a pause and saw the bluest most beautiful eyes i had ever seen in my whole entire life.... oh yea there is 3... 3. after the show on wednesday i had met half of the band but i still needed chris and dr.matt becuz they all came out separately ya kno...so then i was the only one there wit my friend and i signaled chris to come to me...and he wasnt sure that i was calling him so he pointed at himself like if he were askin if it were him i wanted and i said yes and he was kind enough to come on over to me and meet me....(and he really didnt go to any1 else that night which made it even better) and then i had asked if knew where dr. matt was and he said that he was back in the van and asked if i wanted him to go get him and i asked if he could so he said yes and went and did it for me....and then dr. matt nicely came out just for me!!!....i was so happy....i felt very special that night!...he even promised that they would be back in oct. im really hopin that they r cuz i will so be there again ya kno....yay!.... oh and a 4: when Pelle had only touched my hand and no one elses....how beautiful...and jus touchin his leg as much as i did was very magical...hmm....

... one of my best hives experiences was at the 8-2 ahow. i was in the very front and pelle reached put and held my hand and was looking right at me. after the concert, i met them and pelle said that he remembered me from the front. it may not seem like a lot but it made my life! then after the concert in san diego i met them again and they all signed the pics i had taken with them on monday and i thought it was so awesome that they all remembered me again.

LAST WENDSDAY okay last wendsday they played the last show of their recent tour in San Diego and i went. I was in the front right where palle would stand. during one song he reached out and grabbed my hand and kept singing as if he was singing to me then later in the show he did it again. i was so stoked but thats only part of it cause it got much better, he decided to "get closer" to the audience and put a foot on the rail that holds the audience away from the stage. the closest thing to my hand was his ass... well and i grabbed palles ass and he looked straight at me then winked and grabbe my hand again... i was like WOAH and squeeled. some girl behind me tried to punch me but it didnt even effect me cause i felt so special. okay well it still gets better, during the concert i got dehydrated and the security guys kept giving out water, i tried getting some and they didnt have anymore so the guy took palles half drunken water and gave it to me. after the show palle came back out and tossed me his sweaty towel, i was like omg its still wet, and got all happy. i went outside to look for my friend and i found her standing by the backstage doors. she fainted during the concert so they took her back there. she pointed at me and they brought me backstage, i met the band and sahara hotnights.... Thay are for sure THE BEST LIVE BAND ON THIS PLANET!!! now im even more obsessed with them than i was before, i have been a fan since 2000 and yeah... <3 i am still not believing that all that happened, i guess being tall really helps when it comes to stage experience. also i kinda stood out cause i was the only tall blond in that area... hehe

Well..., Hello! First of all - let me say this. I honestly - really! - Believe that in order to have an experience like any of the gals have related here - You have to LOVE the hives to Begin with. When you reach that point - Well - Anything can happen. And these guys are for real, Coming out after the shows to meet the fans that waited - chat - take pictures - do all that stuff. They seem Genuine to me, That's Cool. I'd written a long post here(right here- this one!) and it had the F-word in it, and the site wiped it clean automatically, Now that's Really Cool too. I'm off to the Pub. Seeyall

detroit well i've only been to one concert and it took 11 hours of driving just to get to detroit. we ended up getting there 5 hours early so we sat in a little bar next door and we saw pelle and dr. matt outside but we didn't get to meet them cause some creepy middle aged yugoslavian guy kept talking to us and trying to buy us shots. we sat there for 4 hours before we got in line for the show and chris came out but we only got a glimpse. we got inside and there was no one in there so we went straight up front and stood there till it started. pelle tried to jump on the barrier and accidentally grabbed my friend's boob and then held her hand. nic arson collapsed behind a monitor at one point and then flung his arm over it and pointed at us telling us to clap till he got up. then at the end for the encore, vig brought out a gretsch white falcon (i nearly cried it was so beautiful) and when it was over nic looked right at me and reached down to shake my hand. i ended up with bruised ribs arms and knees from the barrier but it was so worth it. anyone who hasn't seen the hives live needs to.

OMG!!!!! IT`S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!! i havent even been to a hives concert!!!! It´s all my parents fould!!! i would do anything, ANYTHING to get to a Hives concert!!! thats it, i´m going to jump out of a building... But then again, when i´m dead, i could´nt hear or see The Hives... F#"%K! i can´t even kill myself..... !! okay i´m just going to cry untill i get to a hives concert..... maybe that will help...
