ANTIDOTE!!
Yes it's true..

For a few minutes ago they played 'Antidote' and I got very confused, but after the song they said this was The Hives second single from the new album..

Havn't seen a video get for it, and I wonder when they recorded it, must be almost at same as the first single 'Walk Idiot Walk'..

I think it's a good song but not top 3 on the album.



Maybe it's true that the universal site says, you can listen to three songs there and it's 'Two-timing Touch And Broken Bones', 'Walk Idiot Walk' and 'Antidote

I do hope that they will release a number four..

'A Little More For Little You' or 'No Put Intended' or maybe maybe.. 'Missing Link' which is one of my favourite songs on the album..

In a another topic we could guess.. and I was guessing for 'Antidote' and 'Two-timing Touch And Broken Bones' as second and third singles..

But I did thougt that 'Two-timing Touch And Broken Bones' would be second..

That's weird.
really weird. Cause I heard Diabolic Scheme on the radio on Sunday, so I thought that must be their next single. But Antidote would be better as a single. Missing Link is my least favourite track on the album. All the songs on the album are good for singles, I think. so it could be any one of them. bLah, let's not speculate and see what happens instead. it won't change anything.

Hmm...
Heard that TTT would be the next single, even though its kinda short... Up Tight would be a nice single though, really 60s feeling in it.

My favorite is Diabolic Scheme. HPA said that this song shows the more "sensitive" side of The Hives before playing it Wed night in San Diego. That songs is so haunting and just so different from anything else that's "popular" right now. I'm so sick of mainstream . . .

No!
I don't think so...it just means that they will be able to reach more fans without compramising their sound...when one changes their sound to get on to a label is when one sells out or becomes main stream, that's what I believe anyways...and they haven't changed their sound so they aren't mainstream!

Well..
It has been happen before here in Sweden..

Bands who has done double A-Side with two songs in one video, if you get what I mean?

Would be pretty cool, but people will maybe think that The Hives taking after the other bands, like it was the other swedish bands who came up with two-songs-in-one-video.. lol

That abra cadaver is only 95.6 seconds long... but by stretching it out more, you ruin the song... at the terse length it's at, it's a great song that makes me jump up and down until I hit my head on a solid object... the whole hives crito is to play with passion, if only for a short time... but even still, my point is that there is enough passion in that song to make it the next single

Singles are great; they give The Hives more exposure time. For me, I would rather listen to the whole CD when I want to listen to them. Stupid KROQ (LA station) keeps on using the Walk Idiot Walk intro for background music while they're talking. Then, they don't even play the song- they tease me! That makes me mad so I just put in TH . . .

KROQ here in L.A. does blow. I hate how they pump up a band whenever they come into the studio but never play their song.
