 | just wonderin... has anyone noticed that either one, a couple, or the entire band can be seen with a bottle of beer. (they should cut back)
i mean...in their dvd you could see a whole table of beer bottles in thier room...
seriously, i dont want them to get liver problems or anything in that sort of matter...i am soooo concerned (*parent like*)
i mean what if one of them gets sick because of internal problems and cant perform onstage for their die hard fans...
kind of getting ahead of myself, but i just dont want to see them get sick early or anything in that sort of matter...i love them sooo much!!!!! | | posted: 8/5/2004 17:29 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | i don't think... On the dvd it looked like the roadies and other members of the touring group (or whatever) were with them drinking as well. So I don't think all the bottles belonged to the band. | | posted: 8/6/2004 06:20 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | yes all rockers tend to drink and smoke. i dont see whats wrong with a drink every once in a while but drinking 24/7..come on..sodas are good too. but waters the best. anyway...at least they dont come on stage drunk..like the strokes...but druken strokes tend to make a great show. | | posted: 8/6/2004 12:57 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | Chris is one sexy man I love them all . . . but Chris is gorgeous! I talked to him after the San Diego show for a bit. He is such a sweetheart. He was the first one to come back onstage after they finished playing to sign autographs. He was also the first one to come out back to do the same. After he had signed everyone's stuff, he was still out there talking. "I already signed all of your stuff," he said with his awesome accent. Someone near me asked him if they were going to go party. He said no because they had to go to Japan. Their flight was leaving at 6AM that morning. The guy said that they could come over and drink at his house. Chris replied, "Well, if you want to drive me to Japan a little later, then yeah . . ." He has such a cute smile and just is such a genuine person. They all are. I owe one to Vig. He gave my lil bro his guitar pic. He literally leaned off the stage and handed him the pic. Afterwards, he came out (after I got his attention) and signed the pic. They are such an amazing stage band as well as down to earth people. You can tell that fame and fortune have not gotten to their heads. | | posted: 8/6/2004 13:28 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | I remeber that! Yeah I asked hime if he remembered me from L.A. and he said yeah. He was so cute. I told him that I had driven all the way from L.A. to see them and he just casually said and we flew from Sweden to play for you. He's great! | | posted: 8/6/2004 13:31 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | ... I don't drink all the time actually, lol. I actually prefer water to anything else to drink.
And yes, they are a great band they have the right to party sometimes. And they do drink on stage sometimes, I have seen them, especially Chris. | | posted: 8/7/2004 12:49 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |

 | my point was... i know the hives have the right to party and drink but i'm saying they shouldn't drink so much if they do...i mean drinking is okay but i personally dont want to hear a hives member in a hospital or whatever. i want to see them keep their stamina and if drinking is what's preventing them then they should drink like a few but not sooooooo much.
not a mormon but a fan that doesn't want to see the hives go down ever.

 | .... I think the Hives are in rockstardom for the actual playing of rock music - they actually love what they are doing, which is really rare today, because most bands today seem more interested in their fame and money.
Anyway, I don't want to know what they do in their spare time. Don't tell me. | | posted: 8/10/2004 21:41 | Reply | PM | Edit | IP |
