Showbox @ Seattle, july30 I was there- another Amazing hives show (my second). This is my first time here and i am loving the hives more and more every second. I was troubled by the publicity that the hives were put together by some entertainment guru, and the boys don'r write their songs. i was alittle troubled by that, but now i see that perhaPS that whole story is bogus and a hives put-on. that would beway cool. like i said- I'm loving the hives more and more every second. So tell me your story....

Yeah! I don't think it get's any better than a good show by the hives. Congrats on being there. They are Special, and they Give so much. And what a show!!! OMG - have you Ever seen a better show than that? I have and it was last years Showbox show. I'd never even seen a video, only heard a song - Main offender - on the radio, and said to myself; Self get yo butt down there and see these swedes, they "might" be good. Hahahahaha..., Yeah! they turned out to be a lot better than Good. They were and are Great. My favorite is the Rhythm guitar player, just because he impressed me so much the first time i saw them. He Rocks. of course i love Pelle - who wouldn't. I've been right in Front of nicholas both times, cuz lead guitar is the most exciting for me to watch. I rocked out so hard. i swear to Gawd pelle and nic both were staring at me cuz i waas the only person in there sweating more than them. Ooops - too much information maybe. Was thazt Fun or What? Okay enuf about me, let's talk about you...,

ya!!!!! that was the best show!!! and ya pelle and nic kept lookin at me too. maybe because i was the short girl infront getting squished by everyone!! and ya pelle gave me his water bottle! and i got nics guitar pick!! and chris looked at me a couple of times too because i think i met him earlier that day!!! i was like covered in everyones sweat!!! it was gross!! but the best thing i have ever expirenced!!!

No pix no, no pictures. i should of followed those guys down the coast. i've got the rig for it. I just wasn't thinking straight. i think they played portland -san fran- and lalaland. This board is great, but i wish they had a "show Reviews" page where we can post our impressions of the shows. oh well, woops i'm drifting, i'm starving - gonna cooka big plate of spaghetti and carbo load for tomorrow. Damn! What was i thinking, i shoulda done that, it was totally do-able, that's why i picked up the camper. Dumb-shit attack definitely. And hello to the hives who i hope are all over this message board. and thank you guys so much for bringing your music, your art, to us all over the world. you Guys do Rule. i think you may have replaced theMelvins as my Absolutely favorite live Band. thanks so much. and to you jamiekennedyetc.etc. thanks for the "pop", Let me ask you one more time - have you ever seen a better show, a better band?

I wish I was so lookin forward to this show (showbox july30) i was hoping i would run into those guys on the street cuz i wanted to tell them i loved their band and their music and their shows and their attitudes and their clothes, and then i woulda said thanks and thanks and thanks so much for coming back to seattle for coming back to the showbox. They only played a handful of shows on this little uS tour to pimp the release of the album, they're in japan npow, but you know all that. you know why they came to the showbox again? because they had such a good time the last time they were here. I can tell you - last year that crown went nuts- they (we) totally gave it up for the hives and the hives totally gave it up for us. Remember when pelle was asking how many people had been at the last show? i thought everybody would of been at that last show. Who can see a band this good and then not come back next time? Not me. But i did blunder by not quitting my job and jumping in my rig and going to portland for the hives show and down to SF for the hives show, i wonder where they played in SF? and then into the Belly of the Beast - Pinchay los Angeles. i coulda been there. Next time! Yes! Even if they do play the same damn set every night, i bet Nic changes things upa bit from night to night.... seeu...
