 Umm...
VVV was their last album. You mean their first. AND NO WAY IS BLINK 182 OR SUM41 BLOODY PUNK. Ahem...They're known as "poser bands", like Avril. Waaaay too mainstream. Think Sex Pistols, Ramones or Stooges.

Well, I guess I consider the Hives to be "punk" more than "rock"... (except for that new live song..)

When I think of punk i think of those great punk bands like the Ramones and Sex Pistols and stuff... and well, then punk was more than music, it was attitude, meaning, style, and lifestyle... i think anyways.

I think that the hives are punk because they have that snotty attitude typical to those great punk bands.. (well mainly the pistols), they have quite a few rather political songs (also typical to the greats of the past).

Also, punk was supposed to be "rebelling" and doing something different, and all that jazz...

*shrugs* Thats why I think that the Hives are punk more than rock..
