 The new album??
Does anyone know a date for the release of the new fantastic album? I saw someone said 4th April but it hasn´t come out yet. On Late show sith Luuk Howlin´ Pelle just said "some day in summer.. I think".. have u heard any date??

I can´t wait to get my hands on it..

If you look on the main site under "culture" it shows the most recent albums, the newest one says it will be released summer of 2004. SO those previous rumors of a spring album (i heard them too) are now false...

it says the release date is summer which really sucks and too some people overseas aka me have different seasons. so im guessing because im australian this winter is when the australians get it

I'm only guessing now but you think that they should release it before they go on tour... the first date is 5th or something if june so it could be released before that but who knows...

 Album release date?
At the top of the page, under where it says "The Print," the date is Monday, 28 of June. I think that that might have something to do with it, because June 28 falls on a monday this summer. Or i could just be absolutely crazy!

 Exactly my thoughts...
Yeah, I've posted something similar to your response telecasterbandit. I'd ignored the date until the topic entitled "dude, check the date out" or whatever it is when it suddenly struck me- June is in summer, and the album is supposed to be released then. It seems to fit perfectly. It's just seems so silly that we haven't noticed it before.

The theory of the date (28´june) on the home-page seemed very clever, It would be soooo cool if we had the date infront of us all the time without knowing it, seems like a thing for The Hives to do...

Thank-you evryone, but there is just one problem. At least in America, albums typically release on tuesdays, not mondays. I dont know if this is true in Europe though. Hey Europeans, on what day are albums usually released there? Your answer is vital.

I watched the swedish music program "musikbåryn" some weeks agon and the hade an interview with the hives and they talked about the new record. then they showed some facts about the new album and it said that the album is released in july.. they also played another new song called genepool convulsions i think....awsome
